Mainboard Quantumian 1 dari Foxconn Quantum Force Series

Foxconn sebuah perusahaan yang berbasis di Taiwan belum lama ini merilis mainboard dari Quantum Force Series yaitu Quantumian 1. Mainboard Quantumian 1 didesain berdasarkan Chipset Intel X79 Express untuk mendukung processor Intel Sandy Bridge-E socket LGA2011. Rancangan Quantumian 1 mempergunakan komponen solid capasitor dan chocke ferrit untuk menjamin pasokan daya yang stabil dan handal sehingga diperoleh performa maksimal.

Quantumian 1 mendukung memory quad channel DDR3 yang mampu beroperasi hingga frekuensi 2400 MHz. Tersedia 4 slot DIMM untuk menampung modul memory DDR3 dengan kapasitas maksimum 32 GB. Slot ekspansi menampilkan 4 PCI Express 3.0 x16 dan memberikan dukungan bagi multi GPU dalam konfigurasi NVIDIA SLI ataupun AMD CrossFireX.

Quantumian 1 menghadirkan desain power 14 phase Hybrid PWM, dengan rincian 12 phase disalurkan ke CPU dan 2 phase ke VSA untuk melayani para antusias dan overclocker. Sejumlah fitur overclocking juga disertakan pada mainboard Quantumian 1 melalui tombol Prompt OC! untuk melakukan penyesuaian kinerja BIOS, Environmental A.I. Controller guna memonitor frekuensi OC dan tegangan, TWIN BIOS, tombol ON/OFF onboard dan Debug LED.

Sistem suara pada mainboard Quantumian 1 mengandalkan 7.1 channel HD Audio melalui chip Realtek ALC 892 untuk menghadirkan sound berkualitas Hi-Fi (High Fiedility). Transfer data juga mempergunakan teknologi terbaru yaitu USB 3.0 dan tetap menjaga kompabilitas untuk USB 2.0. Konektivitas storage memakai SATA 3.0 yang menampilkan bandwidth dua kali lipat dari SATA 2.0. Selain itu Quantumian 1 juga memasang 2 port eSATA yang bisa memberikan throughput data hingga 300 MB/s dan dual Gigabit LAN.
