ASUS melempar ke pasar sebuah motherboard untuk processor AMD socket AM3 yaitu M4A89TD PRO/USB3. Mendukung processor AMD multi core cache L3 dan memberikan kapabilitas overclocking dengan konsumsi daya rendah, serta dukungan bagi memory dual channel DDR3 2000 (O.C)/1600/1333/1066. Mampu mempercepat proses transfer data hingga 5200 MT/s melalui bus HyperTransport 3.0. ASUS M4A89TD PRO/USB3 juga support bagi processor AMD 45 nm.
Motherboard ASUS M4A89TD PRO/USB3 dibangun berdasarkan Chipset AMD 890FX sehingga support grafis quad PCI Express 2.0 x16 dan mendukung teknologi CrossFireX. Disamping itu ASUS M4A89TD PRO/USB3 menawarkan konektifitas seper cepat melalui USB 3.0 yang sanggup melakukan transfer data hingga 10 kali lipat dibanding kecepatan USB 2.0. Pada bagian Southbridge digunakan Chipset AMD SB850 yang support SATA 6 G.
ASUS M4A89TD PRO/USB3 dilengkapi dengan sebuah switch hybrid yang berguna untuk meningkatkan kinerja CPU secara mudah, cukup tekan tombol sekali tanpa perlu melakukan seting BIOS yang rumit. Berbagai fitur Overclocking juga disertakan pada motherboard ASUS M4A89TD PRO/USB3 seperti Turbo Key II, OC profile dan Auto Tuning.
