Hitachi Travelstar Z7K500 adalah HDD 2.5 inchi 7200 rpm pertama yang hadir dengan interface SATA 6 Gbps dan cache 32 MB. Travelstar Z7K500 menawarkan 500 GB tiap plater ditujukan sebagai pengganti HDD standar 9.5 inchi untuk penggunaan notebook, penyimpanan eksternal, konsol game dan desain perangkat yang tipis.
