Lenovo merilis notebook baru untuk seri ThinkPad yaitu Edge E420S. Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E420S hadir berbekal processor Intel Core 2nd Generation dipadukan bersama Chipset Intel QM67 menjanjikan performa cepat dan handal. Apalagi dengan hadirnya teknologi Turbo Boost serta Hyper Threading maka Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E420S akan menambah responsibilitas notebook ini. Memory dapat ditingkatkan kapasitasnya hingga 8 GB DDR3 1333 MHz pada 2 slot DIMM. Grafis Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E420S menggunakan Intel Graphic HD terintegrasi yang siap melayani display 14 inchi HD (1366x768).
Lenovo menyertakan fitur Enhanced Experience 2.0 dengan optimasi bisnis dan cepat dalam proses startup maupun shutdown untuk meningkatkan produktivitas. Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E420S dilengkapi dengan media peyimpanan Hard Disk Drive (HDD) 320 GB dan Solid State Drive (SSD) 128 GB serta teknologi Lenovo RapidDrive guna mengkombinasikan kedua perangkat tersebut. Pada paket penjualan Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E420S yang dibanderol mulai dari $849 akan disertakan sebuah Kensington Lock untuk mengamankan notebook dari si tangan panjang.
